That's me today.  Even though my scarf is bright and cheery...me not so much.  I have AMAZING things to look forward to this up coming year and I need to remember that I do have an amazing life and amazing soon to be hubby to help keep me grounded.  Lets hope tomorrow is a better day!

Never say Never! and Double Trouble!

Can you guess what my title means?....Went to go see the Justin Bieber movie tongiht and lets just say, Never say Never cause I went to see it with my BF(yep, that's right!).  We are both Bielibers (get it?!)  What a cute documentry that is.  Makes me like him even more because he actually has talent!

Sorry I have been a little MIA for a couple of days...sometimes it's nice to come home from work and not continue to stare at a computer screen, can you all relate?

Finally broke out the what I call "someones great grandmas dress"  I would have to say, it's a little different but very comfortable.

My sister has been asking to borrow this tunic for a couple months now...I guess after today it's out of rotation and she can now have it.

Do you ever??

Wear a jacket alll day, not because you are cold but because of the outfit?!?  I do!  And did today.  Given my shirt has no sleeves and I would have FROZE had I taken it off. 

My initial reaction with this tank was to dress it up, Black blazer, dark jeans and black shoes....but I felt it would have been passed by as an office casual look.  Instead I stuck on distressed jeans, brown boots and my military (or safari) jacket.  Made for a comfy, casual outfit.

So simple yet....

Todays outfit got more reactions then anything I've worn in the last month.  What I thought was so simple apparently was a hit!.

I'm not going to take all the credit though,  When I was getting my hair done one of the stylists had this exact outfit on, minus the grey jacket.  I fell in love...and figured I could copy it.

After....New fixtures and all!  I took the pictures with no lights on in order to see the actual colours. 

I picked up some of the knobs and pull from my local flea market.  Best idea EVER (thanks Sarah!) I saved myself probably $100+ on just the hardware.  The only thing he didn''t have was the correct hinges.  So instead I spray painted them. You can't even tell the difference.    

How bout that for a DIY kitchen!!!  Thanks Mike MCW Woodworking <----- click) for spraying the doors.  Thanks Mom for making me laugh and helping paint and thank Rusty for just being you! oh and helping too. 

Double Trouble

Hello there....ok, my kitchen was done, then my faucet started to leak uggghhhh.  Things are torn apart and a mess....sooooo pitcures tomorrow, k?!? Promise!

This was yesterday outfit.  Almost 4 hours at the hair salon so I didn't get a chance to post.  Can you tell I am loving the faux leather jacket?!  I actually bought it in 2 colours.  Not too sure if I have posted it yet. 












This, was today!  Decided to bring out the maxi dress and use it for winter.  Throw a little (or baggy) sweater over top and bam....it's winterized!!

My stylists used a new technique for colour on my hair.  So far I looove it.  I love the fact that I have the best of both worlds, curly and straight.  Gonna rock the straight for a couple of days then check out what the way it looks curly.  It's like getting your hair done all over again!
